Cassy Schraft, LPC

About

Cassy is the owner and Clinical Director of Lighthouse Counseling Center and has practiced as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) since 2016.

Cassy has experience providing counseling to individuals of all ages and from a wide variety of backgrounds, as well as presenting on various mental health topics to community providers and schools. She specializes in trauma treatment and is trained in TF-CBT, EMDR, and Flash Technique. Cassy is an EMDRIA approved EMDR therapist and consultant-in-training. She also has a special interest in working with LGBTQ+ individuals on issues related to sexual orientation and gender identity. Cassy’s experience includes working with depression, anxiety, and mood disorders.

Cassy completed her undergraduate work at Iowa State University and her Master’s Degree at UW-Superior.  She uses an integrative approach to counseling and believes in treating the person as a whole.  She believes that everyone has the capacity for healing and understands that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to counseling. Cassy focuses on creating an individualized experience in counseling to address the unique goals each person has for their healing journey.

Outside of the office, Cassy enjoys spending time with family, reading, crafts, and traveling. On weekends you can catch her in front of the TV watching Formula One, Formula E, and football.
