Tara foytik, lmft-it

About

Tara brings with her over 20 years in education. She has been a regular education teacher, special education teacher and Dean of Students. Throughout her profession, Tara has not only worked with young children and adolescents, but with families and community agencies to ensure all are supported. With her many years of service, she has a lot of training in trauma and looks to become certified in this area.

Tara prides herself in building a positive therapeutic alliance with her clients and offers a calm and respectful space to grow. Her therapy approach involves not only individuals, but those systems that exist within their life. She is passionate about working with individuals (1:1), couples, and families in a welcoming environment in a relaxed setting. Tara’s systemic approach allows others to feel empowered to make the change they are hoping for.

Tara Foytik is working on her licensure in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) and will be working part time as an MFT In Training (MFT-IT) at Lighthouse Counseling Center.
